It was a beautiful night totally clear and with no moon and being so far away from any town or city there was very little light pollution. It is now 700AM to 700PM all 7 days of the week. Thirteen campsites make up Upper White Rock and are accessible off Forest Road 39. The park was a state park at one time but has been turned over to the City of Dalhart. The road is steep and muddy in some areas.
